Benjamin M. Adams
Benjamin Adams is the co-founder of Rockhouse Capital, an investment management and advisory business focused on creating differentiated investment opportunities with some of the most accomplished investment managers. Prior to Rockhouse, Adams launched, led, and scaled Ten Capital Management, a fundamental value driven, middle market direct real estate syndication business, where he remains as an advisor.
Ben was also a Portfolio Manager with Townsend, where he oversaw $1.7 billion in private equity real estate assets under management within the firm’s discretionary investment management/fund of funds business. Ben was Vice President and General Counsel of Lionstone Development, a Miami-based, principal balance sheet investor in hotel, residential, casino, and mixed-use assets throughout South Florida and the Caribbean. He further practiced law with Greenberg Traurig in New York, and served as the Special Assistant to the White House Counsel in the Clinton Administration, where he focused on a portfolio of domestic and international matters on behalf of the President of the United States.
Ben currently serves as an independent director on the boards of The Townsend Group and Generation Income Properties (Nasdaq: GIPR), and is the Chairman Emeritus, creator and founder of the Defined Contribution Real Estate Council, an industry think tank designed to promote the inclusion of investments in direct commercial real estate and real estate securities within defined contribution plans to improve retiree participant outcomes. DCREC membership represents over $1.4 Trillion in collective assets under management. Ben has a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA from Miami University. He is admitted to the bar in New York.

Carmela Guerrero
Carmela Guerrero is the co-founder of Rockhouse Capital. Prior to launching Rockhouse, Carmela was the COO and Founder of Ten Capital Management, a private equity real estate firm focused on direct real estate in the middle markets, where she had responsibility for every aspect of the company’s strategic direction, compliance, marketing, and fundraising activity.

Carmela also served as a Consultant and Institutional Investment Advisor with The Townsend Group, where she advised and administered public pension fund and sovereign wealth fund clients in excess of $3+ billion in private and public equity real estate allocations, timber and infrastructure. As a lawyer, Carmela practiced with Duane Morris in Miami where she worked on real estate transaction matters and with Davis, Polk and Wardwell in New York, where she was an associate in the firm’s corporate litigation group.
Carmela obtained her law degree from Yale Law School. She graduated with a BA with highest honors in Political Science and French from the University of Michigan. She is a graduate of Stuyvesant High School, a public magnet and specialized high school in New York City and is admitted to the bar in New York and Florida.
